What is MMDA?

The Malaysia Medical Device Association or commonly known as MMDA has a diversity of members comprising of local manufacturers, local authorised representatives, importers, suppliers, distributors, multi-national corporations and service providers involved in the distribution and sales of medical devices and related healthcare products and equipment within Malaysia.
Background
A non-profit organization
Incorporated under the Societies Act, 1966 on 4 April 2005
Formation was consequential to the government’s directive on the regulation of the medical device industry
Officially recognized by the Medical Device Authority of the Ministry of Health Malaysia as the voice of the industry
MMDA is the premier organization representing the interest of medical device industry players in the country
